Video Games Live and the Games Convention Leipzig

So, here I am again. My holiday is indeed long been over and I would have been able to blog frequently small, unimportant things, but I thought I can sign me right back to times with NEM great entry. (That this blog is composed largely of small, unimportant things, sometimes I ignore qualities)

So first come to Leipzig times. Fortunately, Basti, who also went to tour again, especially on home leave and had to be today in Lübeck. Practical. The trip to Kassel was certainly entertaining. We came through well, there's also enough to talk and we also had (should he care during the holidays) and the dog of Basti's parents on board. The concert itself was fantastic. The orchestra played really great, this there was still a choir and of course the two leaders as a mood-maker.

It started of course with Pong, Space Invaders and a number of other classic games, then there was the same time the first peak in the form of a Metal Gear Solid -Medley, a world premiere of Crysis at Video Games Live and of course lots of music from video games (God of War , Civ4 , Zelda, Mario , Sonic, Kingdom hearts , Starcraft 2, World of Warcraft, Metroid and certainly something, I forget what). The grand finale was then Halo quite successful as I thought. The game itself but I find prollig (I mean, even if the hero is Master Chief ...), but the music was very epic. As a bonus, then there was the One Winged Angel from FF7 (However, only Fanart on screen, because the use of its Game Square sequences are not allowed, so it just Disney in Kingdom Hearts were to see figures) and Castlevania . And a true highlight was of course the two appearances of the Video Game Pianist Martin Leung , once with a Final Fantasy Medly, even Super Mario - some with blindfolded (which made him famous was added). At the end of the second round, he also took requests from the audience. To Bubble Bobble he could unfortunately nothing, but when it was still Megaman, I was finally happy (perhaps He now learns Bubble Bobble)

went after a late dinner at the restaurant the golden M's back to the hostel, we were both really tired and if we have what the next day of the fair wanted, it had to get up early.

The exhibition hall of Leipzig was me well through two book fairs now familiar, I knew so well, where you could park for free ^ ^

As was Thursday, it was fortunately not as full (but enough) . Cosplayers and visual acuity were also hardly move (not 15, I've seen). Do not know if the towards the weekend yet changes, at least it was a different picture from the book fair, because practically no one rumsaß on the ground. I would like more Photos made, but I've got a new digital camera (Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W110). Was a rate for a subscription for a magazine, but unfortunately my old memory cards do not fit, so I had to resort to the internal memory of 15 Mb sensational.
