Last night's was time again. It was time for my quarterly poker tournament Nagus All In, held this time already in its eighth edition and the sonorous, multicultural titles "Gamble Gaudi" .
time dared ten gamers willing adventurers to the table, all of which have already experienced NAI participants (because there was no new business due to a cancellation). And what a tournament it was this time. So much action is not a long time. Almost every hand was geraiset before the flop and after that it was usually very aggressive to the point. Spectacular as quads or straight flushes gabs but not to see, but we had many a full house and flushes it was not exactly little. Won
all, my brother. Congratulations, Hias:)
And I? Yes I ... * Drum roll * ... am again become second (thus the title "Eternal Second change " of concern to me is). Flo, the two-time defending champion had to settle for third place overall. The champion of last year's July-NAIS, Coco, was fourth (due to the high number of participants, there were prizes to fourth place). The placement of the entire field you see below:
first | Hias |
second | I |
third | Flo |
4th | Coco|
5. | Christoph |
6. | Knodel |
7. | Daniel |
8. | Riesi |
9. | Michi |
10. | rises |
Riesi reported in his blog again back on the tournament. You will find there also as usual the best of all time and an overview of the participation of all players and their rankings.
apart from the heads-up (bad cards, bad play and bad decisions), I was again very satisfied. The first two hours I was practically just garbage (of 2, 3 and two 9-pair was the weak highlights), but could not make it clear Contibets with a few small pots on the flop and played a disciplined approach and let ; to tempt me out of frustration with manure hands as A2o or 56s out the window to throw my chips. In the Midgame phase showed once again that I am at the time the most. By playing (though not as extensive as last time) and a little more luck than in past NAIS I could take four participants from the table and tell me to go on to become chip leader. The heads-up then we forget (I know but where were my fault and I hope it the next time not to return get up to).
Finally, a couple photos of the decisive showdown.
The first blockbuster showdown of the evening and then immediately have a 3-way pot. Flos AA against KK Riesis against dumpling J10s. Dumplings hit the flop but a flush draw on the turn and a 10, but the aces held by Flo and it could take from the table and Riesi cripple dumplings strong. Surprised it did not have anyone, because the king dumplings braachte curse on the table, which manifested itself in a way that really hardly a pot of someone who has been won, had one or two kings on the hand.
Here we see Daniel's downfall. He and his opponent down to 10 chips had an exactly equal-sized stack and met with two medium-strong hands showdown. The miracle ace on the river was a triumph for Christopher and the 7th place for Daniel.
Here we see the near-end for my brother Iliad. He called with Q8s dumpling ausgrechnet emergency K5s all in with the same color. Although he met the lady on the flop, but the river brought the flush, and so the pot went to dumplings. My brother was with the remaining 300 chips near the end. Respect that he has worked his way from there again high.
dumpling end. I have long hesitated in front of the flop to call his raise, because what you have to meet with QJs or you might shit there. When on the flop a flush draw and dumplings from the all-in came, I had to make the choice a sick call or many, many chips into the wind to shoot. I called (for the most frequent flushing of the evening was spades and I was hoping that the cards were still close together in the deck) and got my flush. I was chip leader and dumplings excreted as 6b. A hand that I won more with luck than with understanding have (unless you upgraded my pseudo-card counting as a mind-actions ^ ^ ')
My most evil bad beat of the evening . I had AK and suspected a similar hand to my opponent. I ran into 2pairs (where the call on the flop with Q3 was more questionable). Fortuna gave me a runner-runner straight on the turn and river. Christopher was eliminated so as 5th.
The last few spectacular picture shows the hand with which I referred Flo at # 3 and moved with my brother in the heads-up. As I said, uspektakuläre hand. I was lying to the river front and the ace sealed my victory.
When heads-up, there were no interesting showdown, and it has more to do Nieman thought about it for photos. So, unfortunately, no more pictures.
In conclusion, I can only again Say it was a long, fun evening and I am already looking forward to the next NAI (which will probably take place in September in an extraordinary special edition). I thank all participants for Join me and I hope it has been bored no one (hardly possible, I think, for the Losers Lounge was equipped with Super Smash Brothers on the Wii and Guitar Hero on PS2 also good) .
Since I am the last of my siblings, who still has no title, I hope the next time to compensate for last.
Take care!
