There are days that start bad and from then on, it goes down - without actually something catastrophic happens. Today was such a day.

went off early. I got the other two hours earlier than usual to bed and I slept through today still perverse long. And I felt really relaxed even when I crawled out of bed. The "breakfast" did not taste, the apartment was cold, I had a headache, learning / student job gabs no groundbreaking discoveries or advances Animexx I went on the cookie, the post I made it in their face and to have gnawed a half dozen other little things on my mood.

Just a bad day halt, as it has each of us views and therefore get along. And since this is actually supposed to be a misery-journal, here the Plottwist:

I have a 14km run (normally 6 to 9) two weeks ago, the jogging 2008 season ended (okay, the 20-degree Hair Dryer from last week I was again), also did because I have no mood for winter running clothes. So switching to swimming, I do so for years. Swimming is just somehow gotten pretty boring - I really do ned more like the last four years that the (semi-) consistently could pass through. In any case, more than once a week this winter I will not go well. This is not really enough.

Luckily's still the alternative high school sports, more specifically, circuit training. Today I was once as it look me in the belief that it would not really be a good substitute. I mean, how bad can be a little run in a circle and a few small exercises even if you were jogging through the summer three times a week?

I was quite wrong. Sun KO, I was never a long time (okay, the 14km run was also recently ned without), but I'm glad because I've found thus NEN jogging worthy replacement for the winter, conveniently with the inside-weaker-than wind-partner.

And the nice thing (here the circle to the beginning of the story): My mood was much better after that again. Is already something in it that sport makes you happy.

What has also helped by the fact, that was today's episode of How I Met Your Mother this season, the first really funny (I have at least laughed again more than in the last few) is. Terminator and Heroes figure was only average. Especially in the latter somehow runs each season from the same ... let's see how long the run through the still.

Nagus All In IX - Halloween Havoc

Yes, it was time again. Another NAI to stand and, as always, the tournament was played in my apartment. This time, with ten people had reached the maximum occupation and for the first time in the two-year history of my private poker tournament, there was a NAI with exactly ever present occupation as it played for ten gamers like the NAI VIII with.

Nevertheless, even this NAI not just be a boring repetition of its predecessor, because it was Halloween after all, so there was the motto "SUIT UP!" (Or dress up!). And most of the participants are also followed the good (Suits were the majority, but we also had a costume Arthur Dent ^ ^):

Overall it was this time a very exciting NAI. There were many interesting hands and watch most of the time the chips were distributed very evenly. Yesterday was once again a copy of my poker tournament round announced, more precisely, a non-tour ROYAL Special addition to the four regular NAIS year. The occasion was a one-month status as Bastis must roommate in my incomparable WG, because otherwise it ZVS-induced in Lübeck deadlines are being missed and the other NAIS all, there was just a September special with his participation (and, unfortunately, early retirement ).

Also this time went back a solid cast of 9 men at the start. A new title holders in the form of Christoph we get it. The exact ranking was as follows:

Yes, just a shameful seventh place for me this time. Connichi My weekend started in a certain way already Tuesday night because Kumo, Whis Foxy and me came to Passau. We were Dult, the swimming pool, watching the city and we have cooked. In addition there is also extra NEN probably post pictures once I have access to the material ^ ^



Thursday's was at least in earliest Early release of third (minus Foxy). Apart from an extended lunch break in the McCafe and a fuel stop, there was no break and we were in record time in Kassel. Friday's release went well early. The final touches at the information desk, I got the Special Mission for the more urgent material Animexx bring (a box of screws ^ ^ ') from the hardware store. With Kumo as co-pilot and highly questionable directions, we took the Kassler transport system and were only an hour later again.



Connichi their lunch then opened the doors to the visitors and the action began. Since my first shift clock began only at 18, I spent Friday with a first photo safari and other places to attack the people under arms. The people rush was still limited, but that is quite normal for Friday. The first information layer was then characterized primarily by "Sorry, but the program notes, all. I had the first shift at the information desk and was busy distributing programs, cosplayers to register two point meters to the right, steer people across the hall and I stole the cookies Animexxstand. ^ ^

clock was my shift was over and my shift I got the Gruppencosplay viewed from as close as never long (helper-Shirts FTW ^ ^). Was it again a lot of fun, beautiful Cossis, but somehow I missed the absolute screamer. Then we went back to Photo Safari, before I found myself at the red carpet at the world record attempt and have masses of photos taken off. Then I finally met again Nami ago, there was a small photo shoot in the park and before I knew it was already on the evening shift. The was a little tougher, because it was seen slowly to a loss of strength, but I was nevertheless still Visit by Jim and Lia, I was really happy. Whis and I also got from [[shiranuii]] very exclusive helper Shirts celebration, which led to many, many photos ^ ^ (That reminds me, that was the first Con for years where I do not even my FF7-shirt wearing ...). That evening we went to bed much later, because the hunt for what was edible in the city with little success (but in the end, McD has never tasted so good).



Sunday started early as usual. Information booth dressing, update bulletin board, visitors from the hall, which were not yet in, angry and steal cookies. Then I I listened Didas talk about his 5 months in Tokyo. Was very interesting, very funny and, above all, very nicely relaxed. After that make a last photos and went vor'm in the last shift. So, here I am again. My holiday is indeed long been over and I would have been able to blog frequently small, unimportant things, but I thought I can sign me right back to times with NEM great entry. (That this blog is composed largely of small, unimportant things, sometimes I ignore qualities)

The grand finale was then Halo quite successful as I thought. The game itself but I find prollig (I mean, even if the hero is Master Chief ...), but the music was very epic. As a bonus, then there was the One Winged Angel from FF7 (However, only Fanart on screen, because the use of its Game Square sequences are not allowed, so it just Disney in Kingdom Hearts were to see figures) and Castlevania . That both are very much mood. In between were

's always a few little extras. Once a member of the audience was allowed to Space Invaders on the screen matches, while The orchestra made the music to it. Then it made a Frogger Contest (again with live-OST) and the conclusion could play the Guitar Hero winners on the stage.

And a true highlight was of course the two appearances of the Video Game Pianist Martin Leung , once with a Final Fantasy Medly, even Super Mario - some with blindfolded (which made him famous was added). At the end of the second round, he also took requests from the audience. To Bubble Bobble he could unfortunately nothing, but when it was still Megaman, I was finally happy (perhaps He now learns Bubble Bobble)

Last night's was time again. It was time for my quarterly poker tournament Nagus All In, held this time already in its eighth edition and the sonorous, multicultural titles "Gamble Gaudi" .

time dared ten gamers willing adventurers to the table, all of which have already experienced NAI participants (because there was no new business due to a cancellation). And what a tournament it was this time. So much action is not a long time. Almost every hand was geraiset before the flop and after that it was usually very aggressive to the point. Spectacular as quads or straight flushes gabs but not to see, but we had many a full house and flushes it was not exactly little. Won

And I? Yes I ... * Drum roll * ... am again become second (thus the title "Eternal Second change " of concern to me is). Flo, the two-time defending champion had to settle for third place overall. The champion of last year's July-NAIS, Coco, was fourth (due to the high number of participants, there were prizes to fourth place). The placement of the entire field you see below:

apart from the heads-up (bad cards, bad play and bad decisions), I was again very satisfied. The first two hours I was practically just garbage (of 2, 3 and two 9-pair was the weak highlights), but could not make it clear Contibets with a few small pots on the flop and played a disciplined approach and let ; to tempt me out of frustration with manure hands as A2o or 56s out the window to throw my chips. In the Midgame phase showed once again that I am at the time the most. By playing (though not as extensive as last time) and a little more luck than in past NAIS I could take four participants from the table and tell me to go on to become chip leader. The heads-up then we forget (I know but where were my fault and I hope it the next time not to return get up to).

Finally, a couple photos of the decisive showdown.

The first blockbuster showdown of the evening and then immediately have a 3-way pot. Flos AA against KK Riesis against dumpling J10s. Dumplings hit the flop but a flush draw on the turn and a 10, but the aces held by Flo and it could take from the table and Riesi cripple dumplings strong. When on the flop a flush draw and dumplings from the all-in came, I had to make the choice a sick call or many, many chips into the wind to shoot. I called (for the most frequent flushing of the evening was spades and I was hoping that the cards were still close together in the deck) and got my flush. I was chip leader and dumplings excreted as 6b. A hand that I won more with luck than with understanding have (unless you upgraded my pseudo-card counting as a mind-actions ^ ^ ')

My most evil bad beat of the evening . I had AK and suspected a similar hand to my opponent. I ran into 2pairs (where the call on the flop with Q3 was more questionable). Fortuna gave me a runner-runner straight on the turn and river. Christopher was eliminated so as 5th.
